The Dirtbag is our version of a high performance ocean "short board" for behind the boat. Hard edging, fast, pivotal turns and quick edge to edge transitions. Slightly slower "down the line" than the other boards in our range due to a curvy rocker line. Speed is created through the surfer driving off the fins and a larger wake size. (designed for Knee to Hip high wave) "Loose" enough but not so loose that you'll slide out when throwing big turns off the lip. Still The Dirtbag is capable of releasing and surface spin moves but with a tad more effort. We run a twin fin set up on this board and recommend the BLVK AM2 fin. If you're after a looser feel and more pivot the KS2.1 also works well.

The dirtbag is not a beginner board BUT is still stable enough for someone to learn on if there isn’t a beginner board available. We recommend being able to surf ropeless and have attempted some movement/turns on the wake. If you've done a reasonable amount of ocean surfing, this will be the board for you! Definitely the closest feel to a modern day surfboard!
