The Riff Raff was designed to fill a hole in the wakesurf industry. We wanted a board that was capable of "surf feel" turns, but also really loose like a "skim style" board to spin 360's easily.
This board is Fast, loose and super fun. Not really the best board to be teaching a beginner on though. We recommend being able to surf ropeless, link some turns, be able to move back and forward easily on the wave and have the confidence to attempt a 360 before you try this board.
We shaped a nice amount of entry rocker to help avoid the all too common nose dive. It features a medium depth single concave throughout for planning speed. The Riff Raff has a mid size rail to help carry speed through the turns whilst still offering enough "bite" into the wave. The large "chop tail" allows push from the wave and releases off the top easier than any of our boards. The Riff Raff is built with 2 fin boxes and we recommend the BLVK KS2.1 fins as they provide loads of pivot on turns. The BLVK AM2 fin will add control, grip and draw the turns out if that is more desired.
